There are still a few days of good canoeing left this year --

Looking out over Lake Mendota, I have seen several kayakers and boaters over the past several weeks making use of the good weather.  The four lakes that comprise the Madison area are good environments for one to get one's canoeing fix.  I also encourage folks to get out there and get your Boater's Safety license from the State.  I think that sooner or later, the State of Wisconsin will require boaters, canoeists, and kayakers to have this training and license.
